I take my sketchbook everywhere and record people and places with squiggly, jumbled details. Sometimes I use sketchbook drawings to create new compositions for prints and paintings.

I’ve been teaching high school art for 27 years, mostly in public, magnet, art high schools.

Hanging out with other artists, athletes, sailors, musicians, dancers, family and people who love food, languages, and travel is crucial to my happiness.
